Ilfracombe

Devon - England - United Kingdom
A seaside resort town in Devon and the site of the famous Ilfracombe Incident of 1932, where a Common Welsh Green Dragon escaped and flew right over a beach filled with Muggles on holiday. Disaster was averted thanks to the quick-thinking Tilly Toke, who performed one of the largest Memory Charms in recorded history (fw77).

Ilkley Moor
Yorkshire - England - United Kingdom
Ilkley is a moorland located northwest of Leeds in Yorkshire, and was the home of a twelfth-century Quidditch pitch (more...)
India
Asia
India is the second most
populous country in the world (behind China), located in southern
Asia and jutting into the Indian Ocean. The
Occamy and the
Phoenix are both native to India
(FB). We also know that the primary mode of
wizarding transportation there is the
flying carpet, as opposed to
broomsticks; as a result, Quidditch
has never gained the popularity there that it has in Europe
(QA8).
Indian Ocean
The
Indian Ocean is the only
natural habitat for the Ramora
(FB).
inns
We know of a number of inns:
- Green Dragon, the
- Hog's Head
- Leaky Cauldron, the
- Three Broomsticks, the
- unnamed inn (possibly in Albania) where Wormtail ran into Bertha Jorkins (GF1)
- unnamed inn in Hogsmeade that was the headquarters for the 1612 Goblin Rebellion
Inverness
Scotland - United Kingdom
A city located on the eastern coast of Scotland, where the river Ness flows from Loch Ness into the North Sea, Inverness was the city over which the Banchory Bangers Quidditch team was apprehended by Ministry of Magic officials as they tried to fly off and capture a Hebridean Black dragon for their team mascot (QA5). Inverness is not far from the location where Hogwarts is generally assumed to be.

Iran
Asia
Iran is located in southern Asia, sandwiched between Iraq and Pakistan. It is a country where Quidditch has never caught on, because flying carpets are generally preferred to broomsticks for everyday transportation (QA8).
Ireland

Europe
Ireland, though not officially a part of United Kingdom, is nevertheless closely associated with it - through geography if nothing else. It comes up repeatedly in the Harry Potter books, as wizarding children from Ireland attend Hogwarts, and cities in Ireland are part of the British and Irish Quidditch League.
Quidditch can trace some of its origins to Ireland. The game of Aingingein, played on broomsticks and using a ball called a Dom and a series of flaming hoops, originated here (QA2). Ireland's National Quidditch Team also won the World Cup in 1994 (GF5), with Harry, Hermione, and the Weasleys in attendance.
Notable wizards from Ireland include Cliodna, Queen Maeve, and Morholt (fw), along with (probably) Seamus Finnigan.
Ireland should not be confused with Northern Ireland, which is a different country and part of the United Kingdom.

islands
While on the run from Death Eaters, one of the places to which Harry and Hermione Apparated to spend the night was an island in the middle of a Scottish loch. While they slept here, snow half-buried their tent in the middle of the night (DH16).
In addition to this unnamed island, there are several others specifically referenced in the books:
