Ears,Extendable
Eavesdropping device; one of
Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes (see).
An Extendable Ear looks like a piece of flesh-coloured string. One end is inserted into a person's
ear, then, on the command "Go," the other end wriggles off to
where a conversation is taking place. The Extendable Ear makes the distant
conversation easily discernable
(OP4)
Egg, Golden
A heavy golden egg, made in the shape of a dragon's egg (though not
the same colour), made to open and having hinges
(GF20).
See also Egg, Golden.

eye, magical
Artificial eyes in the wizarding world
seem to have unusual powers, as a rule.
A "staring glass eye" was among the Dark items for sale in Borgin and Burkes during Harry's first visit (CS4).
"Mad-Eye" Moody's artificial eye is round as a coin and electric blue in colour (GF12). It can see through solid objects, including the back of its user's head (GF13, GF14). It can also see through invisibility cloaks (GF19).
